Oklahoma designed and assembled guitar and effects pedals.
After their Modulation and Reverb effects put them on the map, they have not disappointed in their ever expanding range of everything from over drives to utilities. If you're building a board from scratch or looking to add to one: Walrus is the place to start.
I mean... I thought I knew what a reverb was supposed to be able to do, sure. But boy was I wrong. The Slö is capable of everything from the subtlest rounding of tone with a hint of room to adding something akin to choir accompaniment. Great for adding a little bit of realism to this world or transporting you to new ones.
Ahh... Compression. The salt of the guitar world. Taken for granted, but missed in its absence. At least for me, this one is always on, but not always noticed. But I sure can tell something is wrong if it's not on.
Ever get tired of playing the same old licks? Just like how many times am I going to just repeat myself? With the right delay, you won't have to! The pedal with do it for you! It's a delay joke! But seriously, this thing packs a punch. It's got modes and tap tempo, tape decay and sag, so many interesting options, you'll want to hear it again. Another delay joke. But seriously, it's like a Time Machine in the sense that you can either sound like you're from the future or it can act like a vintage studio in a box.
Juliana is a neat little pedal. In fact, if I could only have one modulation type pedal on a board, this would be the one. It's both chorus and vibrato and everywhere in-between! And that's because you can blend the two! No more binary decisions! Just infinite variety!
